Epic Games removed the most iconic building features from its popular game Fortnite in the latest season. While it was only a prank at first, the developer has now made it official with the addition of Zero Build mode.
A new Fortnite mode is a combat-focused option in which players can collect resources and construct defensive structures. "There's no need for a building! "It's all about your ground combat skills," Fortnite said in a tweet.
Zero Build will be available in the Discover menu and will be available in Solo, Duos, Trios, and Squads playlists. In addition, three new weapons are available to players: the Anvil Rocket Launcher, the MK-Seven assault rifle, and the Combat assault rifle. The launcher has the ability to lock on to vehicle targets and can be obtained from regular and rare chests, seven supply and IO Chests, supply drops, and sharks. Meanwhile, the MK-Seven has a red-dot scope, and the combat rifle has recoil that increases the weapon's strength. From the 2nd to the 4th of April, these assault rifles will be available on the island. Players can vote for their favorite by contributing Bars to Donation Boards.
"Before either of these Assault Rifles is unvaulted, you'll have the chance to try them out in the wild!" From Saturday, April 2, at 4 a.m. ET to Monday, April 4, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. ET, look for MK-Seven and Combat Assault Rifles scattered throughout the island. Soon after the trial period ends, you will be able to vote for your favorite option by donating Bars to Donation Boards. The first weapon to reach 100% funding will be the first to enter the loot pool!" Epic Games made a blog post about it.
The Anvil rocket launcher will not be included in competitive playlists, according to the developer. The assault rifle trial period will also not be included in competitive playlists. According to reports, the Zero build option is not yet available in the game. The option is expected to appear in a separate mode in the title.
