Nvidia revealed the Geforce RTX 4070 Ti graphics card on Monday at CES 2023. The GPU has 12GB of memory and is manufactured using TSMC's 4nm technology. This is the third card based on the Ada Lovelace architecture that Nvidia unveiled in September 2022 for RTX 40 series GPUs. Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 and Geforce RTX 4080 are the other two cards based on the Ada Lovelace architecture.

Specifications and features of the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 Ti:

Although it appears to be a new model, the Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 Ti is simply the 'unlaunced' 4080 12GB model. For the uninformed, Nvidia released the RTX 4080 in two variants in September: 16GB VRAM and 12GB VRAM. Both models featured significant variances that led to buyer confusion.

As a result, Nvidia 'unlaunched' a GPU for the first time, the RTX 4080 12GB model. The same model is now the RTX 4070 Ti, which was shown at CES. The Geforce RTX 4070 Ti is built using TSMC's 4nm technology and is based on the Ada Lovelace architecture. For streaming, the GPU supports DLSS 3, Ray Tracing, and AV1 video encoding.

The RTX 4070 Ti's specifications include 7680 CUDA Cores and 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM. It has a 2.61 GHz boost clock and a 2.31 GHz base clock. It has a 192-bit interface and 4th generation tensor cores as well as 3rd generation Ray Tracing cores.

The GPU has a PCIe Gen 4 interface and can support a maximum resolution of 4K 240Hz or 8K 60Hz. It supports up to four monitors and is said to be VR-ready.

Nvidia Geforce RTX 4070 Ti pricing and release date in India:

In India, Nvidia has fixed the RTX 4070 Ti's starting pricing of Rs 80,000. The card costs $799 in the United States, which is around Rs 66,200 in India. The GPU will be accessible globally from January 5th.

Interestingly, Nvidia isn't selling a Founder's Edition card this time around. However, third-party firms such as Asus, Gigabyte, Zotac, Colorful, Galax, Inno 3D, MSI, Palit, and PNY will sell the GPU.
